Half-easy 4 days itinerary with departure and arrival in Trento… This tour give us the opportunity to cover 4 Valleys of Trentino among which the Adige Valley, Fassa and Fiemme Valleys, Cembra Valley and Valsugana… Along the path we can admire different landscapes, from the plain covered by vineyards, to orchards…we cycle along the splendid Fassa Valley to the grey Cembra Valley, famous for its mines of porphyry. Only Lake Lases gives an Alpine look to this territory… But we can find a wonderful and stunning panorama once we arrive at the lakes of Caldonazzo and Levico.
1° STAGE (km 71): Trento – Egna – Montagne - Passo S.Lugano – Cavalese
Half part of the first stage is on the plain cycle path along the Adige river, direction north, leaving from Trento. From Egna we start to go up on the left side of the Adige Valley and, starting from the village of Montagna, we cross the path of the old railway of the Fiemme Valley, with a constant 4% incline. In Passo San Lugano, with a short descent, we firstly reach Molina and then Cavalese.
2° DAY (km 60): Cavalese – Moena – Cavalese
Day which starts and ends in Cavalese. We go along the wide valley, firstly on the old road from village to village and then we move to the cycle path which is used in the winter for the famous Marcialonga. This stage is plain: Tesero, Ziano, Predazzo and Moena are the villages that we will meet during the day.
3° DAY (km 79): Cavalese – Stramentizzo – Segonzano – Pergine – Levico – Roncegno
The third day traverses the Cembra Valley and the zone of the porphyry and, running along Lake Lases, arrives in Valsugana. From Pergine we reach Lake Levico and from here we take the cycle path of Valsugana, which will lead us to Borgo and Roncegno, where we finish our day. For the next morning it is possible to visit the Sella Valley with the biennial of contemporary art in the nature.
4° DAY bis – ALPINE VARIATION (km 60): Cavalese - Passo Manghen – Borgo – Roncegno
The variation of the third stage is a shorter path that connects the Fiemme Valley to the Valsugana: passo Manghen. The hill, as charming as difficult, divides the Lagorai chain in two parts. This is the most wild and uninhabited part of Trentino where the peaks of the mountains stand out between the forests. From Molina we go up to Cadino Valley, up to 2.047 m. from here we descend the Valsugana until Telve, or, with a further hill, we can reach Roncegno.
5° DAY (km 45): Roncegno – Caldonazzo - S. Caterina - Vigolo Vattaro - Trento
After the visit of the exhibition Arte Sella, we begin our return, from Borgo, following the cycle path to Levico, running along Lake Caldonazzo to Claceranica. A short hill will lead us firstly to Bosentino and then to Vattaro, arriving easily in Trento, final stop of our tour.
